POSITION OVERVIEW:
The PCTT is seeking a motivated and disciplined individual to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ADMINISTRATIVE functions to ensure the effective and efficient operations of the day-to-day activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organise, update and compile all files, correspondence and reports, as required, on general
administrative or specialised tasks which may be of a confidential nature - Assist in the documentation of payments and receipts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with
financial protocols - Determine office and office supplies and office furniture and equipment, assist with the
requisition of supplies and equipment - Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, correspondence with employees and other general
calls. - Provide support in the recording of staff vacation, sick leave and other types of leave
- Scan, photocopy and file confidential documents, as required; along with maintaining a well-
structured filing system that allows for easy retrieval of documents. - Treat with all matters in a confidential and discreet manner.
- Assist with planning, coordination and execution of special events
- Any other responsibilities/functions deemed necessary by the Project Management Team
- Review and upgrade as required the filing system electronic and hard copy for efficient record
keeping and easy retrieval. - Other related duties.
Profile of Qualification:
EDUCATIONAL:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resource Management, or
equivalent - Five (5) CSEC passes including Mathematics and English Language, General Proficiency Grades I or
II. Other subjects General Proficiency Grades I, II, III. - Previous experience will be an asset.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in office management or business
administration; - Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to communicate and engage with
diverse populations non discriminately; - Highly skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite;
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of and/or preparedness to become familiar with and abide by PCTT’s principles, code of
conduct and humanitarian goals - Be able to handle confidential information and documents appropriately.
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures.
- Working knowledge of standard office equipment operation.

REPORTS TO:
General Secretary of the Synod of the PCTT
SCHEDULE:
5 days per week, 8 hours per day.
Note:
All staff must show proof of a certificate of good character within 3 - 4 weeks of hire.
Staff must not have any past or ongoing charges or allegations of fraud, exploitation or
discrimination of any type.
