JOB SUMMARY:

The Presbyterian Church of Trinidad and Tobago (PCTT) is looking for an experienced Production Technician looking to join a developing team.  Are you an enthusiastic, conscientious and hard-working individual, who wants to develop their career in film production? Can you contribute a positive attitude and energy to our team and work hard to manage and improve our behind-the-scenes procedures? If so then, we have the perfect job for you!

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Capture high-quality footage of PCTT church services, facilities, and special events.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute live streaming of various events and manage any technical issues promptly with optimal audio and video clarity
  • Collaborate with team to produce engaging video content, including promotional videos, client testimonials, and educational materials.
  • Edit and post-process videos to enhance visual appeal and ensure consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Keep abreast of new technology and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Work closely with the Communications Manager, other team members and boards and committees of the PCTT to create, plan and execute video and website content as well as social media campaign projects
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time.
  • Provide input and feedback during brainstorming sessions and project reviews.
  • Prepare all the supplies and equipment needed for the set
  • Maintain and operate video, audio, and lighting equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  • Prepare/File paperwork such as scripts for the set and help with various administrative work

Profile of Qualification:

EDUCATIONAL:

  • Associate Degree in Media or Film production or equivalent
  • Minimum of Five (5) CSEC passes subjects General Proficiency Grades I, II, and III.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Considerable knowledge of operating techniques used in television program production.
  • Experience in operation of equipment used in television programming
  • Highly skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and G-Suite;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to communicate and engage with diverse populations non discriminately;
  • Knowledge of and/or preparedness to become familiar with and abide by PCTT’s principles, code of conduct and humanitarian goals
  • A valid driver’s license and working vehicle

REPORTS TO:

Communications Manager of the Synod of the PCTT

SCHEDULE:

5 days per week, 8 hours per day.

Note:

All staff must show proof of a certificate of good character within 3 - 4 weeks of hire.
Staff must not have any past or ongoing charges or allegations of fraud, exploitation or
discrimination of any type.
